Rollie

Roland "Rollie" Barrett grew up moving from town to town across Canada, so as an adult he could not resist the urge to continue travelling on his own. From living in rural potato towns or west coast beaches, to multiple cross country trips by Greyhound or thumb, Rollie Barrett has experienced "Canadiana" up close and personal.
His musical pilgrimage started at open mic's, moving on to coffee shops and then on to the local pubs and bars across Vancouver Island, but he prefers the sanctity of resorts and small restaurants that provide the atmosphere to deliver an authentic performance. His most memorable performance was on Canada day 2011 on the legislative stage in front of tens of thousands. he is a recipient of the Queen Diamond Jubilee Medal for his musical efforts supporting multiple charities.
Life is not always perfect but Rollie has always carried the "no regrets" attitude and as he returns to the head-water to start a new journey he sees great value in all experience. Combined with a fluid imagination and 40 years of life behind him, he puts pen to paper with guitar at the ready.
